Brighton Shall I or shan’t I?

my heart when looking at investment properties and I do do that.  But…… here in Brighton where I find myself now as I type, my heart feels unhindered, my concerns blown to the wind, my energy levels risen, and every building seems a gem. I must admit that staying next door to Mary in one of her rent 2 rents, we are but a stones through from the sea, to the point that I can here the water rolling onto the beach.

It has staggered me the number of people arriving for viewings here, but it is true that properties are still falling out of bed.  I see many sold subject to contract but the sales still don’t necessarily go through.  So I’m finding it a bit of a waiting game.  It seems there’s little motivation from sellers as hoards are interested in buying but I do believe that motivation will return as sales fail to complete.

People have asked is this still a good time to do options? and yes I believe it most definitely is especially using strategy like SA, so guest houses, hotels and smaller units and it’s about persistence, patience and quantity.

But in terms of overall investment in Brighton I would love to know what you think as I am smitten with the place but not convinced that it is a place to invest and think perhaps the heart is trying to over-rule the head.
